A tapered woven nylon exterior with engraved rivet, quick detach springbars, and soft underliner. Features both ground and air (Army and Air Force) design elements. PATTERN/ PAIRING: The AAF (Army Airforce) OD-41 watch strap features a classic deep Olive Drab exterior with a neutral grey stitching, underliner and reinforced hole settings. First formulated in 1940, Olive Drab #41 was established as an updated joint Army-Navy Aeronautical Board (ANA) standard for a darker olive tone for use on vehicles and aircraft. A quintessential mid war military green, in combination with neutral grey makes for a historically strong pairing with Pilot and Field pieces as well as with monotone dial designs. LAYOUT:A 2 piece layout specially tailored to accommodate a wide range of wearer wrist, and case lug-to-lug sizes.
